How to leave a group
To leave a group, follow these steps:
Open the group page and tap the three dots menu in the top-right corner.
Tap "Leave group" at the bottom of the action sheet.
How to delete a group
To leave a group, follow these steps:
Open the group page and tap the three dots menu in the top-right corner.
Select "Edit" from the menu.
Scroll to the bottom of the Edit group page and tap "Delete group."
Only creators can edit and delete groups.
What happens when you leave or delete a group
Leaving a group: When you leave a group, you will no longer have access to its content, updates, or member interactions. Your name will be removed from the group participant list, you will not be visible on the member map, and the group will no longer appear in your profile or group filters. You can re-join a public group anytime after leaving.
Deleting a group: If you are the group creator and choose to delete the group, all members will lose access to its content, and the group will be permanently removed from SeaPeople. This action cannot be undone.
