Women Leading the Way on the Water
A spontaneous Women’s Wednesday, inspired entirely by our sea people.
We woke up to a wave of incredible women sharing their trips this morning, sailing, exploring, and posting their trips from all around the world. It’s inspiring to see so many women out there, chasing their dreams on the water.
You can find all these journeys in the “Daily Picks” collection on the SeaPeople home feed.
Emma Heading Towards Dominica
"Sailing overnight past Dominica heading to Les Saints in the morning 😌
Beautiful conditions & an even more beautiful sunset!"
- Emma Knott

Nassau to Norman’s Cay
"Another day of absolutely glass conditions as we made our way to Exumas. We have seen so many videos, photos drone shots of these islands dreaming of the day we would finally make it and it lived up to all the hype!
Crazy fact, exactly two years to the day Haley and I (Josh) were taking sailing lessons in St Augustine dreaming about this exact place. And now 730 days later we made that dream a reality🤘🏼"
- Josh & Haley Wallin

Lexi vs. No Autopilot
"I’m towing the dinghy and i should’ve created a bridle and towed it down the middle but i was in a rush and just tied it to the port aft cleat. silly me. it’s causing the boat to pull a lot. not having autopilot is driving me bonkers. Sitting here and hand steering for the next 24 hours is gonna not be fun. i think we will have to stop and anchor on the banks somewhere. on the bright side- the crab pots are not nearly as bad as they were coming down so im hoping they continue on that way (knock on wood)"
- Lexi DeLeon

Perrine on Her Way to Sandy Island
"ahhh i do love being on the water. this lifestyle is hard 🥲 but it’s also SO GOOD!
Super short run. Wow this spot is gorgeous!!"
- Perrine Louvet

What If We Do It Like…..
"Marianna and I went out on Less Stress for a lilttle single handing fun. Experimenting with different methods of sailing her solo as she’s currently rigged."
- Logan Thomas

Finally Made It To Biak!
"After several attempts and many weather-forced stops, sailing against wind and waves, we’ve finally arrived in Biak, our gateway into Indonesia.
We’re proud of this entire passage, and even happier to say that we’ve now crossed the Pacific from Panama to Indonesia, with over 10,000 nautical miles tracked on Seapeople 🧜🏽♀️"
- Claudia

Exploring Isla De Culebra
"Decided to explore around Culebra. Sailed over to Lana's Cove on Cayo De Luis Peña. One of the best dive spots ever discovered, totally by accident. Didn't want to leave. Returned to Ensenada Honda for a great dinner ashore."
- Capt. Bobby
