Navigating ASA 104

Alexander Ohlgart of Spinnaker Sailing Adventures in San Francisco, CA sailed under the Golden Gate Bridge and practiced 2-point and 3-point fixes. It was all smiles aboard, despite the foggy conditions.

Celebrating Student Milestones

Years of dreaming finally came to fruition for Emmarie, who completed her ASA certification with Sunrise Sail in Lake Lanier, GA. She's "totally hooked" and can't wait to get back out on the water.

ASA 106 with a 'Twist'

Captain Paul Sullivan of First Reef Sailing in Boston, MA shared an epic sail from Boston to Scituate, making the most of a classic summer sea breeze and practicing sail trim skills with his ASA 106 students. In a trip update, Captain Paul shared an educational snippet about twist in a mail sail, explaining how to control it with the vang.
