From fjords to figure-eights, here’s how SeaPeople users are logging life on the water
SeaPeople users aren’t just dreaming—they’re doing. Whether it’s an ASA course in New York or a months-long ocean crossing, these journeys showcase the wild range of ways our community gets out there.
Here’s a glimpse at eight unforgettable trips across continents and oceans, logged and shared by the people who lived them.
“Closing the Loop” — Casey Raine’s Full NZ Circumnavigation

Casey Raine didn’t just take a trip—she completed a full figure-8 circumnavigation of both New Zealand’s North and South Islands. After 3,901 nautical miles, she returned to where it all began, exhausted and triumphant. Next stop? Australia. No big deal.
ASA 103 with Megan Eugenio in NYC

First sails, first victories. Megan Eugenio’s ASA 103 training day aboard Vitamin Sea on the Hudson was short and sweet, but a big step toward future adventures. A beautiful day and a major confidence boost.
Cape Town to Walvis Bay — Konrad Patryk Noe’s African Adventure

Konrad’s delivery trip turned into a 5-week layover in South Africa after uncovering serious rigging issues. But with a new screecher sail and a fresh crew, he pressed on to Namibia—deeply changed by the land, the people, and the lessons learned.
Boats on Rails — Josh & Haley Wallin’s Great Loop Magic

Yes, their boat literally rode on rails. Josh and Haley’s journey through Canada’s cottage country ended the Trent Severn Waterway in style—with winding rivers, lakeside mansions, and a lock system that turns boating into a rollercoaster.
A Powerboat Dash in China — Alana Carrington’s Quick Cruise

Fast and full of heart. Alana Carrington’s father-daughter powerboat trip in Hong Kong was just 28 minutes, but full of speed, smiles, and special time on the water. Proof that every outing can be meaningful.
Pacific Rowing Power — Miriam’s 59-Day Epic

Most people cross oceans under sail. Miriam rowed across the Pacific—over 3,300 nautical miles of grit, solitude, and ocean sunsets. Her mantra? “Good vibes only.” It’s a masterclass in endurance, joy, and human potential.
Atlantic Loop — Jean-Yves’ Return to the Med

🇫🇷 Bien arrivés ! After four years sailing the Caribbean, Jean-Yves completed his Atlantic loop and returned to the Med with crewmate Célia. It was a joyful, three-part passage filled with gratitude and celebration.
🇬🇧 Safe arrival! After nearly four years exploring the Caribbean, Jean-Yves and crew completed a return Atlantic crossing back to France—an emotional final leg to an extraordinary voyage.
Norwegian Dreamscape — Marie Frederiksen’s Sail to Røvær

Calm seas, crisp air, and a perfect sail. Marie Frederiksen’s trip to the tiny island of Røvær in western Norway is a reminder of how peaceful (and beautiful) a day sail can be. Pure serenity.
