Boating dreams don’t start on the water—they start in the shed, the shop, or under a tarp in the yard. That’s why Challenge #3 is all about the hands-on work that gets you afloat. If you’re restoring, repairing, or rebuilding your way to adventure, we want to see it. If a past project got you out there, we want see more about that too!
How to Enter
To join the DIY the Dream Challenge, you’ll need to show us the work that makes boating possible—whether that means a full restoration or just some serious TLC.
Here’s what to do:
Join the challenge in the SeaPeople app
Post a trip between June 4 and June 17, 2025
Your trip must include:
📸 Photos of your DIY boating project (current or completed)
📝 A short write-up describing the work
🗺️ A route (either a drawn future trip or a tracked real one)
🔖 Tag the trip to the DIY the Dream Challenge
Only complete entries will qualify for rewards and prizes.
What You’ll Get
Everyone who completes the challenge will receive:
🏆 The TotalBoat DIY the Dream Trophy added to their SeaPeople profile
💸 A 20% off coupon for their next TotalBoat order*
And one exceptional entry—chosen by the team at TotalBoat—will win the Grand Prize:
$500 in TotalBoat products to help fuel your next big project.
What Counts as a Trip?
A trip is your chance to tell the story of your DIY work. You can draw the route you plan to take once the project is done, or post a tracked trip that your hard work made possible.
But remember—you must include both:
A mapped route (drawn or tracked), and
Project photos and a short write-up
This isn’t a social post. It’s a celebration of the work behind the wake.
Fine Print & Scope
🌍 Anyone worldwide is welcome to enter and share their DIY story, but please note:
TotalBoat does not ship to every country. To redeem the 20% coupon or the $500 Grand Prize, you must provide a shipping address in a supported region.
