Staying connected before, during and after class
At its core, SeaPeople is about creating community on the water. Over the past few months, sailing schools have started using SeaPeople to elevate student engagement through groups, trip tracking and digital logbooks.
Here's a look at some of the ways schools are leveraging SeaPeople to engage with their students.
Sailing Opportunities with Atlantic Yachting
Whether it's an open seat or last-minute cancellation, Jonathan Horvath of Atlantic Yachting in New York City is leveraging SeaPeople to give students opportunities to get out on the water. He recently shared an open seat for the coveted new ASA 102 course.

On the Water Basics with First Reef Sailing
Forrest Hardy from First Reef Sailing in Boston, MA is tracking trips and digging into advanced trip analytics (a Plus member feature). In his recent ASA 103 course, Forrest was able to share pictures and videos of his students practicing navigation, anchoring and crew overboard drills.

Training the Trainers with Annapolis Naval Sailing Association (ANSA)
Jack Fine of ANSA is sharing the ins and outs of ASA 201 & 203 to certify new Coastal Cruising Instructors. This multi-day course included blindfolded docking maneuvers, single-handing drills and crew overboard practice.

SeaPeople is the perfect tool for students and sailing schools to engage before, during and after class.
